Change webservers
Change webservers
Hi, I wondering if it's possible to add/remove webservers after the innitial installation of vesta?
So if I initially deployed a server with NGINX only and now some users require Apache, is there a way to add it? Is it as simple as installing apache on the server and Vesta will detect it (I doubt but worth asking).
Also if I then want to remove NGINX, what's the process to achieve so?
Cheers

Re: Change webservers
Simple answer is no. Easier and faster to backup your user, reinstall the server itself and then install Vesta again. A simple search of the forum will give you the general/similar answer. Here is an example: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11467&p=44216&hili ... all#p44216
Summarize: From nginx+apache to nginx only is easy. The other way around, like you wanted, is harder.

Re: Change webservers
No,
Vesta would always be "confused" if it was installed without Apache and would not create the needed configs as needed.
Best would be to have a separate small server with clean install of Apache Apache+VestaCP so you can port your specific clients to it.
