Change vestacp port

Code: Select all

service vesta restart

Code: Select all

v-add-firewall-rule ACCEPT 0.0.0.0/0 2000
v-update-firewall

Do you use cloudflare?
The only port that I know working with their SSL services is 2053
Try to change to that port.

thank you! I used digitalocean vps for my website, they are blocks default vestacp's port 8043,
I changed that, adds some firewall rules and all is works!!!
here is some instructions (thanks to imperio)
1. edit the /usr/local/vesta/nginx/conf/nginx.conf
change the 'listen' port from 8043 to your (8089)
2. add firewall rules for that port:
/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-add-firewall-rule ACCEPT 0.0.0.0/0 8089
/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-firewall
3. service vesta restart
4. all done!!! we have a fixed trouble )) thanks to imperio ))

@mdmatic absolutely correct.

If anybody is getting this error on DigitalOcean then nothing is wrong with Vestacp.

DO have disabled 8083 port for preventive measures.

I changed the port and it is working now.

I am running VestaCP on an Amazon EC2 server, and am having a similar issue. I have tried removing and reinstalling Softaculous, I opened all of the ports on Amazon platform, even disabled firewall on VestaCP, but I keep getting "ERROR LOADING DATA" when I click on Apps.

Logs show:
PHP message: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: _SESSION in /usr/local/vesta/web/softaculous/index.php on line 32
PHP message: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: _SESSION in /usr/local/vesta/web/softaculous/index.php on line 35

Any Idea's?

I have vestacp running on two other VPS servers, and they run fine.
