Ubuntu 18.04 not good for Wordpress

Hi Guys,
I hope this saves you the trouble of installing ubuntu 18.04 and then downgrading back to V 16.04
VestaCP will install normally and you won't notice any troubles until you start using wordpress. You'll realize that you can't browse wordpress's plugins repository. You'll have troubles activating any license or some of them especially WP-Courseware and CleanTalk. Anything that needs connecting to other websites from the backend will be disabled. This is a problem with local DNS resolver (named)
The solution is to disable named but this will not solve all of your problems. Unless you have a very self contained application you're at no luck.
