Error: LetsEncrypt challenge request

Hi All,
Since a month or so all my Let's Encrypt renewalls are failing. The error i get is: Error: LetsEncrypt challenge request.
This is both via the webclient and via CLI. Nothing is changed other than i installed a PHP selector: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=17129
Even in het eg. PHP-7.2 or the default template the challange fails.
What i have tried:
Iv'e tried to look into the letsencrypt log file, but it's empty. (The location is /var/log/letsencrypt right?)
Renew via CLI or the webclient.
Searched the forum for fixes.
Searched the Lets Encrypt forum for possible fixes.
After all that the issue is not resolved yet.
Do you have an idea what is could be?
