500 Internal Server Error (Fresh Vesta Install)
500 Internal Server Error (Fresh Vesta Install)
Hello!
I new to Vesta, and I have heard it is a really good choice for efficiency and speed. Ultimately the website I am trying to put online will be using WordPress.
Apparently after configuring options in Vesta (user, domain, DNS) I should be able to see a default page that says "Powered by VESTA" when accessing the website through the website's IP, but instead an error shows up "500 Internal Server Error Sorry, something went wrong :(". Previously the accessing the website through IP also redirected to /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi, but it doesn't anymore after clearing cache.
Here is some information,
Error log:
Thank you

Error log:
Using:2018/12/16 03:07:56 [error] 1151#1151: *30 connect() failed (111: Connection refused) while connecting to upstream, client: someIP, server: mydomainnamegoeshere.com, request: "GET /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://someIP:8080/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi", host: "someIP", referrer: "http://someIP/"
I think that the website for some reason is trying to get/display /cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi, and I'm not sure why, and I'm sure where to change that. I've already tried searching for this problem, but the solutions I found were more relevant towards CPanel, .htaccess, php-fpm, etc., or answered like this post viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15677(OS) Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
(Web Server) apache2
(Proxy) nginx
Thank you
