Whenever I try to add a domain to Let's Encrypt, I the error:

Code: Select all

Let's Encrypt validation status 400
Upon further inspection, I was able to find the full response:

Code: Select all

Error: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request<br>Server: nginx<br>Content-Type: application/problem+json<br>Content-Length: 144<br>Boulder-Requester: 54571210<br>Link: <https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory>;rel="index"<br>Replay-Nonce: 0001rcWqcFx1i75g0m1qHOPVuvxjCominKLuusYW7KXH9j0<br>Expires: Tue, 10 Sep 2019 00:16:58 GMT<br>Cache-Control: max-age=0, no-cache, no-store<br>Pragma: no-cache<br>Date: Tue, 10 Sep 2019 00:16:58 GMT<br>Connection: close<br><br>{<br> "type": "urn:ietf:params:acme:error:malformed",<br> "detail": "Unable to update challenge :: authorization must be pending",<br> "status": 400<br>}
of which I think only this part is important:

Code: Select all

Unable to update challenge :: authorization must be pending
I'm not using Cloudflare or any other proxy service.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
