Hello,

I was wondering if there is a fix for Wordpress askink for FTP detail while updating plugins.
I don't want this feature and I would like to disable it.
Can somebody help me?

Hi, connect to ftp with winscp, locate public_html folder and check the "owner" column" If the owner is root for all or some files it asked for ftp details.

Simple solution is choose all the wordpress files in public_html, press F9 in your keyboard or right click then choose "Properties" choose owner as "admin", tick the "Set group, owner and permissions recursively" and click ok.

It should fix it.
