Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Do we need to do anything as a server administrator to set up FTP with Vesta or should users be able to easily do it themselves. What I mean is, does Vesta need any configuring for FTP?

Some people using my server are having trouble with FTP. One person set up his own FTP account and got this error:
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

I don't know what's wrong. What must I do to allow people to use FTP properly?

sorry you could not get an answer to your question. It seems the vesta team does not know simple things about vestacp, or want $60.00 for a simple yes or no answer.

Vesta says they are coming out with a commercial version, but cannot stay up to date on their planned releases, and don't know simple things about their product. LOL time to get a different CP or just not use one at all.
