Error on adding SSL

I am trying to add SSL to our site... but I keep getting the error "Error: root or/and intermediate cerificate not found". This is on a CentOS 6.5 distro. What is strange is that I can enter the same exact SSL info into an install on an Ubuntu 14.04 and I don't have any issues.
Does anyone have any pointers... or info in general?

@patstan thanks for providing the link. This however did not work for me. For now, I just placed the certs manually in the directory and its working. However, the interface is out of sync. Since this is the only SSL for now... this will be okay... just not optimal.
