You can download that file via FTP or seeing the content on it via SSH (Putty it's a SSH client) and copy the content inside the file here.

- SSH (Putty):

Command:

Code: Select all

cat /usr/local/vesta/log/backup.log
Just select the text on the screen with the mouse cursor, the selected text it's copied automatically; now, paste it here.

I have a month old install of vesta, and it is doing this same behavior the OP describes.

I successfully created one backup(63gb), then about 3 weeks later, I tried another one, and it never created. Logs make it appear to have correctly created, but it never showed up in the vesta UI, and it doesn't exist in the backup folder.

I have restarted server twice(dedicated server), and when I click the Create Backup button, it displays, "An existing backup is already running."

Remove or rename the following file /usr/local/vesta/data/queue/backup.pipe. Once you have down that try running the backup again.
