Hello,
I installed Bittorrent Sync on my server, to sync my backups with other servers en computer (the automated FTP-backup feature never worked). But I run into a problem.
Bittorrent Sync has an own webui wich is delivered by some kind of own webserver inside the program, and should be accessable with ipadress:8888.
On a different server I installed it on (which hasn't got VestaCP) this indeed works out of the box. But on my server with VestaCP installed, it doesn't.
The webui can't simply be found when going to ipadress:8888. Because of the fact it works on my other server, I think VestaCP blocks something. But I don't know what en how to fix it.
In this tutorial they install Bittorrent Sync and nginx together, and they adjust some things in /sites-available/.
With VestaCP, we don't have that filestructure. I looked at /etc/nginx/conf.d/ and the conf files in /home and i did find those server { } parts as mentioned in the tutorial above.
But nomatter what I try to let myipadress:8888 listen to 127.0.0.1:8888 as mentioned in the tutorial, it won't work.
What am I doing wrong and how can I get this to work? I'm lost.
