Hi,

I just moved my server to vesta but i'm in trouble with my SSL Cert.

My last server i didn't use any control panel. i configured it manually. When move on to Vesta my Ssl cert crashed and i can't use now.

When i try to install Ssl cert i'm taking "Error: SSL intermediate chain is not valid" error.

On my last httpd.conf;

SSLCertificateFile /home/xx/ssl/xx_com.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /home/xx/ssl/xx_com.key
SSLCertificateChainFile /home/xx/ssl/xx_com.ca-bundle

Also i'm trying to paste my files to Vesta with these information
SSLCertificateFile >SSL Certificate
SSLCertificateKeyFile > SSL Key
SSLCertificateChainFile > SSL Certificate Authority / Intermediate

My last server i didn't take any error and passed all of ssl checker web site. But vesta gives me an error "Error: SSL intermediate chain is not valid" like this and i can't pass this area "SSL Certificate Authority / Intermediate." empty.

I bought my Ssl cert from https://www.sslcertificate.com/

Can you help me about this ? What i'm missing or if it possible can you send me an example httpd.conf for Ssl cert. I can install it manually.

Lastly sorry for my bad English.

Thanks for help and this beauty Control Panel.

Hi,

I had the same issue, this has nothing to do with the VestaCP, just change the order of your certificate files in the chain file.

Your chain file needs to be like this in one file:
---START---
---END---
---START---
---END---
---START---
---END---

If VestaCP doesn't accept a varience just keep replacing the order you will finally find the correct chain of certificates..
