Will be your vps or server good enough? Will be your hoster cable good?

With cache in nginx you can handle reddit-effect and with canhe plugin in WP, but will be enough? No one can say for sure. Needs high load tests, like loadimpact or so.

Adsense javascript are on google's side, not on your server. Caching template not affect adsense.

Logic say so, other way - test and prove ;)
