Starting ProFtpd FAILED

Hello all,
1st : congratulation for the Panel ! It's easy to work with this.
2nd : sorry for my english, i'm a french user, but i attempt to make efforts for you :)

Here is my config :
CentOS 6.6
VestaCP
IT'S A FRESH INSTALL

But, i have a problem :
i followed this link for change vsftpd to proftpd
(http://vestacp.com/docs/#how-to-replace ... hel-centos)
when i start the proftpd service with terminal, i have an error message

[root@server ~]# service proftpd start
Starting proftpd:                                          [FAILED]

Type configtest

Code: Select all

[root@server ~]# service proftpd configtest
Usage: proftpd {start|stop|restart|try-restart|reload|status}

I need your help for my personnal hosting server

Hello,
it solved, i have added a line to /etc/hosts

Code: Select all

192.168.0.10 [TAB] myhostname

Code: Select all

service network restart [OK]
service proftpd start [OK]

isn't work for me.
i have input my ip public to the host.
and i edit the ip to the local ip its same
proftpd won't start [Failed]

please any one help?
