Visitors REAL IP forwarding form NGINX to Apache
Visitors REAL IP forwarding form NGINX to Apache
Hello , i've been wondering how to forward REAL IP of visitors to the apache server .. Because right now NGINX is acting like a proxy , and apache is receiving connections from LOCAL IP .... That makes awstats and many more things unusable :)
Tnx in advance :)

Re: Visitors REAL IP forwarding form NGINX to Apache
Thank u , this is what ive used to fix my problem
<IfModule rpaf_module>
RPAFenable On
# When enabled, take the incoming X-Host header and
# update the virtualhost settings accordingly:
RPAFsethostname On
# Define which IP's are your frontend proxies that sends
# the correct X-Forwarded-For headers:
RPAFproxy_ips 127.0.0.1 ::1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx // where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is local server IP
# Change the header name to parse from the default
# X-Forwarded-For to something of your choice:
RPAFheader X-Real-IP
</IfModule>
