I installed Vesta - everything broke. Help with last step
So here is a tale of my own stupidity.
I heard of Vesta and it looked WONDERFUL. So I went to my server which had a popular blog and a bunch of business sites and installed it.
It broke everything.
After a while I figured out that Vesta uses a different folder structure: instead of /var/www it uses /home/admin/etc...
I moved my business sites to the correct folders and now they work. So that's awesome!
The issue is my blog.
It is wordpress.
So I moved everything from my original root directory (the wordpress files) and moved them to the correct /home/admin folder.
This includes the .sql files I was using.
when I try to load the page it gives a 404.
But when I try to load an html page it loads fine. eg. readme.html loads fine but /wp-admin for example does not.
So I THINK maybe its a database issue.
I go into Vesta and go to the database section. Now any changes I try to make there give me an error:
"Error: Connection to localhost failed"
What do I need to fix? This is kind of urgent.
Thank you SO much.
