Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Hi,
am not new to vesta, not new to wordpress and am not new to apache and opcode.

But, I am not a geek.

So, as far as I understood from reading this forum, vesta already gives a great approach to website speed with nginx as frontend (in static files serving) and apache in backend (for dynamic file serving)


Now, some time back I had vesta running and just used a website for testing this nginx/ apache thing which was running fine in a default template in its container...( web account in vesta)
...
then I wanted to improve speed and turned on nginx template on this wordpress site.
The website runs with SSL cert
but then it got unavailbble... 500 error
Maybe only cause it has a SSL installed??

But anyway...
What do i need to do to have the advtange of nginx / apache config on a wordpress site?
and then I want to install varnish,,,,


Pls help what I need to do if any!

P.S.: top clarify: I dont want to run any WP plugin like total cache or an external solution like cloudflare, I want to make the site speedy through having nginx serve the frontend and apache serve the backend....
I was under the impression that I have to change the template for this...
Well... what are the steps please?

I just dont know, if switiching to Nginx template is needed at first...

I use "hosting" template for both nginx and apache to run wordpress.

Works fine for me.

Ok. what is the advantage over default?
I only have one website on the whole server.
When I switch on the nginx template on the one website it still makes the site loop and unreachable.
