Make php file phptest.php for example with content:

Code: Select all

<?php phpinfo(); ?>
Run from browser and see, where your php config file is.

There is 3 ways:
1) deleted (by you or your admin)
2) hack and deleted (by some evil force)
3) OS image lack this file or where some troubles when installed

It's ok now as long evil is dead. ;-)

But seriously, option 3 is possible. Hosters have many custom OS-images and some custom fail with those too.
