roundcube can't connect to database

Hi everybody,
I've installed vestacp on centos 6 following the official instruction on vestacp.com. (this is a vps from iniz.com)
This vps is working since two or three month ago but today I tried to connect to the webmail and...

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!

Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

My Os and vestacp are updated and I tried to reboot the Os but nothing's gonna change.
This is the second time that happens this thing to me, but the first time (on another vps) I just reinstalled everything.

Does anybody knows what should I do?
I'm tryng to learn, thank you for your patience

it strange, because on our test servers this problem in not reproducible but it exists

yes I read those threads but unfortunately I'm trying to learn and for exemple I found roundcub mysql password here /root/.my.cnf but I can't find mysql password here /ect/roundcube/db.inc.php, when I try to go to thst folder it tells me No such file or directory.
So I don't know how to connect to phpmyadmin. I'm newbie and I really don't know what might be useful to share with you to help.
what I am scientifically sure is:
I installed vestacp on centos 6 64 bit and they are always been updated, I installed it about three month ago and I only have two sites, one html/css and one with get-simple (both are static) so I never installed any database.
my vps is: Openvz Memory 256 MB VSwap 128 MB.
I never did anything but initial install, set up thos two sites and periodically update the Os.

For me it would be easier to reinstall everything but if it could help I tranfer this two sites to another vps that I own and I give you via pm ssh access data and vesta panel access data.

I don't want to delegate it's just that I'm trying to learn and I do not have great skills but if somebody wants to tell me what is worth investigating, I do it by myself.

Can you give me root access to your server ?

Thank you but I meant that I gave you access to my server if you were interested in investigating for the cause of problem.
I don't want to waste your time I can install roundube on a subdomain or a subdirectory by my own.

We already know about this problem from our users, but we cant reproduce this problem on our test servers
