Mail only works on mail.domain.tld subdomain

I have a fresh installation of VestaCP with on domain on it at the moment. All the DNS records listed in Vesta for the domain are also in my DNS zone file with Godaddy. Making a mail account works if I have the email account as [email protected] perfectly but I need it to work at [email protected] but it just won't.

can you help me to configure my domain in godaddy to let my email server work as you mentioned [email protected]. i do not have any problem if it stays so . now i am stuck in sending and recieving mesages in the same domain but not out of it like to another providers like gmail or hotmail etc
