I tried login web mail in roundcube, but now I get this error: login failed. I installed vesta cp. How can I fix this? More information in /var/log/devecot:auth:

Error: passwd-file(xxx.xxx.x.xxx): stat(/etc/exim4/domains/mydomain/passwd) failed Permission denied (euid=109(dovecot) egid=117(dovecot) missing +w perm: /etc/exim4/domains/mydomain/passwd stat(/etc/exim4/domains/mydomain/passwd) failed: Permission denied, dir owned by 0:0 mode=0755)

i try everything but i cant login web mail I'm using Ubuntu 14.04

Can you goto the specific folder:

Code: Select all

/etc/exim4/domains/mydomain/

and while in there run a command:

Code: Select all

ls -l

and see who owns what. Cause for me, this is just my output, yours will be different:

exim mail aliases
exim mail antispam
exim mail antivirus
exim mail dkim.pem
exim mail fwd_only
dovecot mail passwd
