Problem with DKIM record
Problem with DKIM record
Hello guys..
I recently installed VestaCP in my VPS (I am new to all). I created a domain for which vesta generated a DKIM and spf ,by itself.
But the DKIM records is not detected by mxtoolbox.com or any other such site. I got a valid rDNS. I cant understand what the problem is?Is there any bug in vestaCP?
Need some serious help guys..
Thank you

Re: Problem with DKIM record
did you wait uptil 48hrs to ensure DNS propagation is complete ?
Also the better way to check is by shooting mail from your domain folder -- send mail to mail-tester.com and check for it. you may also send a mail to any gmail ID and check "original source headers" to ensure if they are DKIM signed.

Re: Problem with DKIM record
MX toolbox only use 1 DNS Server. If you want to see if your DKIM record is set in DNS you need to use a DNS Lookup that goes against your SOA Server. I use this DNS Tool, just change the DNS Server dropdown to Authorative SOA Server. That means it's going to do the lookup at the source, so you won't have to wait till prorogation to see it.
