Forward to Mail Server
Forward to Mail Server
Hi,
I am looking to have a setup where a mail-server on vestacp will filter out spam (via spamassassin...etc) and then forward the email to another email server (such as a Microsoft Exchange Mail Server).
Is there a way to do this on VestaCP or any other workaround?

Re: Forward to Mail Server
By default VestaCP scans the e-mails for SPAM then forwards them -- but only if they are marked as "spam free". Any spam e-mails will end up in the spam folder and will not be forwarded. Does that answer your question?
Re: Forward to Mail Server
You get the point though.
Change VestaCP to Exim in my reply and it's all gravy.

Re: Forward to Mail Server
Is there a way to achieve this via VestaCP? Basically set the Mail Server IP it will forward to (for domains that want it to be forwarded). It will basically act as a mail server that checks for spam, and then forwards the non-spam to the microsoft exchange server. Not all domains will want to use the forwarding option.XoXiLhJ0mn wrote:You need to configure Exim.conf accordingly and trigger forwarder/Router in the config to do this.
