mail maximal queue

Hello,
we have problem
from one of our servers ve cant send email to one specific domain: @windowslive.com
this email sits in mailq for over 26 hours.
How we can make max 30 minutes of waiting time?
in exim we do not what valute to change.

And that is all? I mean forever thease domains emauls will go outside server mail queue and never stops in there?
Or it is just one time fix and will not work after server reboor or sending another mail to this specific domain emails?

We need long time rule.

Sorry for thease qestions but im quite new in this mail things.

I did not post a solution to you, that command will output how exim will route the message to that domain. This will tell us if it is able to lookup the domain on the first hand or not.
Second you will need to check exim mainlog and find the message that relates to that domain.

That means it is able to resolve the domain fine.

Now we need log entry from your Exim log
Best would be to Truncate your Exim main log, then tail it and then try to send a mail to someone@

Log Locations:
For CentOS : /var/log/exim/main.log
For Debian/Ubuntu : /var/log/exim4/mainlog

Post the results from your observation.

If you have been sending SPAM or your server is/was compromised, you should see to fix that. If this is a fresh server and you recently started using it, talk to your Webhosting provider to get your IP cleaned and delisted of RBLs or change your IP

We buy new server this month, and we move from other provider to this one.

Are you relaying mail through external SMTP ?
Your IP that you gave seems to to be clean. You will have to dig in more to see where the problem is.

You may also want to signup for Microsoft's SNDS service and watch your IP/Domain reputation
