This is to Vestacp dev team.

Why is it so complicated to setup a mail server? Tutorials all over the place on how to setup mailserver properly. copy this, copy that, create symlink, add, remove, change path. I really really like Vestacp and it's my first choice to serve a pure Nginx webserver but when it comes to mailserver it lacks.

I imagine a good plugin would solve this for ever where user fill in few fields
1- hostname
2- ssl certificate
3- ssl key

then the plugin will do all necessary changes in dovecot, exim, vestacp, etc...

I'm with Vestacp for the last 2 or 3 years and till now never had a properly setup mailserver. I get a 10/10 score on https://www.mail-tester.com all the time but when it comes to connecting from a mail client it fails to send.

Can you please solve this issue once and for all?
do you offer mailserver setup through paid Support?

I've never had a problem setting up a mail server. I think the only extra thing I do is put in a cron to check and copy over the ssl cert I install for the web into the control panel and email. I guess they could have that happen automatically, but it's literally just a minute or two once at server setup.What would you like to see happen?
