Hi

I have centos OS, Vesta 23 updated. All working good, but forwarding email not working to any domain.

Can you please let me know what setting I modify to work forwarding emails

If you have everything set up properly, maybe it is going to the spam folder? Put in a gmail address for forwarding and see if the message reaches the spam folder. Hosting your own email server will get it automatically marked as spam on big branded email hosts.

What I noticed is that email forwarding seems to work, but it doesn't work if email is sent from either the mail address you want to send to or the email address you want to forward to. So for example I have set up email address [email protected] and forward it to [email protected]. When I send an email from [email protected] or [email protected] to [email protected] then it doesn't forward (never arrives), but when I send an email from another address to [email protected] the it arrives.

Does this make sense? Is there a reason as to why it's not working when using one of the addresses itself?

I was also checking the /var/logs/maillog file and it could be related to spamassassin (please note I've replaced the servername with ???? and message id with .....):

Maybe you can send email through an SMTP server. Meian had a similar problem with sending messages, it turned out to fix the problem when I started sending messages through the BSG server.
