Roundcube Can't change mail password.
Roundcube Can't change mail password.
Hi,
I've noticed several other threads on this topic going back to 2016, and have made sure everything suggested there is in place on my server. Specifically
- I've checked that the plugins/password/drivers/vesta.php driver script contains the up to date function.
- I've changed the server port from 8083 to the one my vesta installation is running on in plugins/password/config.inc.php. $rcmail_config['password_vesta_port'] = '8083';
- I've tried with and without the correct ssl hostname. $rcmail_config['password_vesta_host'] = 'localhost';
- I've made sure the jquery config is in place.
What I'm seeing is my connection attempts to the roundcube functions in /var/log/apache2/domain.log
17.18.15.13 - [23/Feb/2020:11:11:21 +0800] "GET /webmail/?_task=settings&_action=plugin.password HTTP/1.0" 200 4007 "https://domain.com/webmail/?_task=settings" "UserAgent"
17.18.15.13 - [23/Feb/2020:11:11:33 +0800] "POST /webmail/?_task=settings&_action=plugin.password-save HTTP/1.0" 200 4027 "https://domain.com/webmail/?_task=setti ... n.password" "UserAgent"
17.18.15.13 - [23/Feb/2020:11:12:34 +0800] "POST /webmail/?_task=settings&_action=refresh HTTP/1.0" 200 889 "https://domain.com/webmail/?_task=setti ... sword-save" "UserAgent"
Nothing appears in /var/log/roundcube/error.log
In /var/log/vesta/nginx-error.log I get 401s. (Access denied). So it seems that the correct host/port are being passed to the driver.
17.18.15.13 - - [23/Feb/2020:11:09:10 +0800] POST /reset/mail/ HTTP/1.1 "401" 188 "-" "PHP Script" "-"
Any suggestions of where to go next? The mail password can be changed OK through vesta control panel, and commandline, so that bit still works.
