I have a question if someone wants to help me, I have been with the same error for several weeks, I have a vps with the mail configured, in mail tester 10/10 and mx toolbox also everything correct, from the webmail I receive and send correctly, but when I put it in Thunderbird tells me that the SMTP is not encrypted and I cannot send, you know why this could be? I have already solved it, the key is to set the main domain as smtp and imap server, and choose ssl as security (the web has to have ssl), make sure you have reverse dns zone(ptr).
