Hi,

My server reports (both on command-line and on the service page within Vesta) that Dovecot / exim4 services are stopped.

When trying to restart them nothing happens.

Code: Select all

~# v-list-sys-services
NAME STATE CPU MEM RTIME
------ ------ ------ ------ ------
nginx running 0 285 932
apache2 running 0 3592 906
bind9 running 0 0 906
exim4 stopped 0 0 0
dovecot stopped 0 0 0
mysql running 0 0 906
vsftpd running 0 25 932
cron running 0 25 939
Emails still are able to send/receive.
I followed the installation outlined by Steve Tan (http://stevetan.me/ubuntu-13-04-vestacp-setup/).

Anyone know of a reason for this, or what the implications are?
I am fairly new to this and have just installed Vesta CP on Ubuntu 13.10 on a digitalocean.com droplet.

Cheers,
Dave

I have re-installed Ubuntu and this problem was solved for me.
