Bugs with DKIM and DomainKeys

Hello.

I just want to report there are some bugs, at least in Ubuntu servers.

First of all, you need to chown admin /etc/exim4/domains if order to get DKIM certificate correctly read. Otherwise you will get a "cannot access file" error in exim4 log.

Second, there is impossible to get DomainKeys verified. I currently have:
DomainKeys check details:
----------------------------------------------------------
Result: neutral (message not signed)
ID(s) verified: header.From=[email protected]
DNS record(s):

Does anyone know how to fix DomainKeys ? I want to fix it for Yahoo purposes.

Thank you.

check your dns record, it must be valid, eg. sending mails from xyz.com, you must have record ns to vestacp, mail and other. Next is, show us what version of vestacp do you have, maybe you have old version, isn't it? yahoo and other including google, are rejecting emails which servers are using dkim encrypted less than 1024. It was fixed in the last vestacp revision, and by the default now vesta uses right 1024.

:)

DomainKeys is outdated, DKIM is current. While you may see services that check your SMTP settings mention DomainKeys, you will not likely send mail to a server that tests for it.

To resolve mail reputation issues, it is best to focus on the actual problems than to let these test sites put your attention on less important things. If you receive bounce messages, address the errors directly.
