dovecot satus "stopped"

Hello i have installesd fresh ubuntu 14.04 with vestacp.
But the problem is that dovecot isnt starting, the status keep showing " stopped"
What ever i do,it doesnt change.
Also i am unable to connect to ftp.

Help please

this problem is confirmed on ubuntu 13x and 14x
Service itself is running fine, so please ignore the status for a while.
We are working on it.
