General Configurations of Roundcube (Exim4)
Hello Everyone,
There are several tutorials on setting up a linux server and installing VestaCP. After many trial and errors I finally got things working. Everytime I would do a standard install roundcube would never actually install the SQL file in the database. As well as the MySQL password that it would assign would not match the VestaCP password, nor the password of your root or user that is setup from the start.
So after figuring that out, and getting all passwords to match and being able to connect to Roundcube's database and login to the RoundCube Webmail. I am still running into one more problem and it could be something simple or it could be something involved.
Right now, I have setup a given email address for each domain... simply: [email protected]
I have opened up ports: 25, 143 and 50025 for roundcube.
From there I am not for sure if I need to add additional MX Records, go into the Domain Registrar and add anything there or otherwise to get this to work.
I have tried to send test emails out and in to a given address and nothing appears anywhere and I do not get any kind of errors.
If I could get some assistance, I will happily finish my tutorial for this and post it anywhere someone would like.
Thank you in advance!
Bradley

This may be more related to SMTP being blocked than anything. I am going to do some tests of this at my work office and see what happens.
