DKIM Setup on Ubuntu 12.04.5 x64, Vesta Core 0.9.8 (amd64)

Hi I installed VestaCP on Ubuntu 12.04.5 x64 a couple of days ago and have had a great deal of success so far. Endless thanks go to the developers.
I am looking to get DKIM working properly for two separate domains that resolve to one IP address. Both mail domains have DKIM checked.
1) Only one of the domains had a DKIM DNS records automatically generated. I read that each domain needs to have its own DNS record. Is there a way that I can get Vesta to regenerate DNS records for both domains? Adding a new mail domain failed to generate a new DNS record.
2) I have found a number of online DKIM generators that will generate private and public keys and the DKIM records based on a given domain. Do I need a private key for each domain, or a shared one?
3) After much reading I have found that the private key is stored in /home/admin/conf/mail/mydomain.com/dkim.pem. Do I need to make any other changes / add any other references into any other files to make externally generated key sets work?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.
