Disable EXIM - still use sendmail to use a smarthost
Hi All Geeks,
I have a pretty Lean Debian 7 (64bit) box that serves some high traffic sites, and for the performance and security I have EXIM disabled.
Can I still configure sendmail to use a smarthost (mandrillapp) and shoot mails without any exim/postfix running?
If Yes, will in this way, the PHP Mail() function will be able to send mails from my VPS to the outside world ?
Thanks...
