Spam emails?
Hi. There are many spam emails being sent from my domain, but from fake accounts such as:
[email protected]
Very random names like this, nothing I have ever created. How do I stop these emails?

Re: Spam emails?
First, check if you're server is an open relay or not. (http://mxtoolbox.com/diagnostic.aspx)

It says Not Open Relay.
Also I am getting bounce messages to my catchall email, from Google and Yahoo saying that SPF records do not match so they deny the email. This is good, right?

I'm also quite new to the complex E-mail world, but I think that the SPF must always pass (it depends whether you're talking about the spam domains or e-mail sent from your real domain(s)).rocky123xo wrote:It says Not Open Relay.

Re: Spam emails?
I think what the message is saying is that my SPF is not allowing the spoof emails to be sent, because they aren't from my IP. If that's the case, then my problem is solved!
