Switch to postfix on debian/ubuntu?
Switch to postfix on debian/ubuntu?
I was curious if it was possible to use postfix on debian/ubuntu as opposed to exim? Exim's configuration is rather verbose and unfamiliar to me, as far as I am aware, postfix is uninstalled on debian/ubuntu, but works fine on redhat/centos?
Could such be elaborated upon with regard to this decision/if it would be possible to switch from Exim to postfix?

Re: Switch to postfix on debian/ubuntu?
Why not? It's possible, all in your hands.
By default VestaCP use Exim as MTA, it's no standart way or guide for switching (don't see it). If you want use postfix, there 's need changes in code - like mail domain, dkim generator... but if you want it badly, you can do it. VestaCP - open hosting panel, all code open ;-)
