for the dns-cluster setup, do i need to install the full vestacp on the node or only vestacp-bind...

would mysql be required?

Vesta + BIND is all you need. Vesta comes with it's own version of nginx (vesta-nginx) so if you install nginx you are install the WEB side of nginx not vesta.
