Hello guys,

I have added a long TXT DNS record. I have divided it into two short records. like this:
dkim2048._domainkey 14400 IN TXT "k=rsa; p=MIIBIjANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAAOCAQ8AMIIBCgKCAQEA353UOE1CDMNIueKMV1NrPggfXzcPOPi7tyz7kQHoVRAtjyBh6HIFTLyiaK0O9VY9kLazmpZ74uhJX6IV/FYJwzh9nd4fORdzEAunlL91XCfu14lirFGxUPSIzu1mhDe853ng3AslZzmat2lN0+AII09mGfKdmlUFisqorkf7PUzAf057++mRcy7TAUwvKtv0K7ORJgSlJZ" zYAmOUD792b6k2e00hw8FbgA3HM/o09Tmsrl+tHORS9BqtWhT2ajEx6d41Viu1+mCiqV0WciUNDLrAPJt0sqpurPMAd/EJAwLDsE5No2lYqhCteJ6AWiUtoBNsKtjj1vYMzuWqRje1AQIDAQAB
I tested the result of the DKIM at: , and it shows thats its valid.

However. when I added a new DNS record. it says the the DNS record has been added successfully. but its never live.

I wanted to restart named service from vestacp I got this:

and it stays like that.

Can you please tell me how to add longer than 255 characters DNS Record?

Peace and gratitude.
Iss

Can you check your bind9/named log? Normaly in syslog.

Ubuntu/Debian: https://vestacp.com/docs/#config-log-lo ... ian-ubuntu
Centos/RHEL: https://vestacp.com/docs/#config-log-lo ... hel-centos

There you should find additional informations, why the named service does not start.

Best Regards
Raphael
