Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Has anyone used pihole on the same server that vestacp is installed on? I have seen a how-to on bind, but I am using named. Granted, I do not use any of the DNS function in vestacp since I use either DNS Made Easy or Digital Ocean servers for DNS; I am unsure how vestacp would like it.

I will use the snapshot function in Digital Ocean before going down the replacement path.

This will make it easier for my family to use pihole instead of setting up a pi3+ on several networks.

It's not impossible, I think, but I'm not recommend use Pihole with standard installer on same server with VestaCP.
