add new domain on same IP
add new domain on same IP
I have dedicated server with ubuntu apache2 and VESTA. I have only one IP for my server.
I have running web site on server with domain www.OldSite.com
Now I registered new domain NewSite.com
I set NS on registrator page like
ns1.NewSite.com and ns2.NewSite.com and gave them both my same IP address from my server
I created new DNS in VESTA NewSite.com and applied these NS1 and NS2 records
Problem is that is not work properly. When I enter in browser NewSite.com content of OldSite.com shows
How can I solve this problem and have 2 domain names share same and only IP adress I have?
I will have seprate SSLs for both sites. On OldSite it is in function and work proprely. I ordered SSL for NewSite and when I reolve this problem I need to install SSL for new page also.

Re: add new domain on same IP
I think there is something wrong with your settings. Check all your settings again, especially your dns.

As per my knowledge it is possible to have multiple domain names with same IP. Here's a discussion on this - http://forums.bodhost.com/showthread.ph ... ht=address
Hope this will help you.
Re: add new domain on same IP
Yep, it's ok to have many domains on one IP, but for nameservers (NS) you need 2 IP.
