Can't connect to localhost even after updating password into conf file
Can't connect to localhost even after updating password into conf file
I changed my password 3 weeks ago , i think i restarted my server and since yesterday i had no issue to create new DB.
This morning, i tried to create a new DB and i got the error can't connect to localhost.
The password into
/usr/local/vesta/conf/mysql.conf
and root/my.conf are updated.
Also i have the same issue with roundcube :
DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
I have some websites that are running and they can communicate with the DB ( like http://zertech.tech ) ...
I dont know what to do if anyone can help me, i will be ready to provide my access.
Thanks

Re: Can't connect to localhost even after updating password into conf file
If it can help anyone, i dont know how but maybe root password was updated on my conf file, but not into the DB itself.
I followed this topic
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... t-password
By reseting manually root password with mine and it worked.
