vestacp restore function is not working as expected

I have a backup from a vast database; the database charset was utf8-mb4, when I restored the backup database, the charset was still utf8-mb4, but the emojis lost during the restore process.
I'm not sure if you pass this parameter when restoring from vestacp GUI:
--default-character-set=utf8mb4
can you confirm you do add this parameter when we restore databases?
