Server Name Configuration broken (bug?)

I have 2 ubuntu 16.04 servers, I have 2 centOS 7.3 servers. I have the latest vestacp running on all of them.

When visiting "server" and then "configure" and then changing "Hostname" - it APPEARS to work fine, until the servers are reboot - then it reverts back to whatever it was before the change. This happens on all 4 of my servers so I assume a bug of some sort.

If you have VPS, it's common trouble, contact your hosting provider.

For the record I was actually pointing this out as I thought it was a bug. If this really isn't a bug and its just me, this can certainly be ignored. Its an easy enough fix

Code: Select all

vi /etc/hostname
