Updating IP after server migration
Hi, My hosts have moved my installation to a new virtual server meaning the IP address has changed. I found the following CLI in the list but when I add my IP address to the end I get the following result:
[root@srv1 ~]# v-add-sys-ip 217.148.42.36
Error: not enough arguments
Usage: v-add-sys-ip IP NETMASK [INTERFACE] [USER] [STATUS] [NAME] [NATED_IP]
Can anyone assist in giving the correct details for the bracketed items? I currently have websites whose dns resolves to the correct (new) IP but the sites aren't available as the webserver isn't listening on port 80 (according to host's support team) they suggest that as the vestaCP is pointing to the old IP it needs updating for things to work.
Any help appreciated!
Owen

Re: Updating IP after server migration
Try to use v-update-sys-ip and add command in autostart.
Code: Select all
/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-ip
