Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Hello Team,
I have noticed lately that when my WHMCS module runs automatically to suspend an account it changes my admin password for vesta. I use the admin account for the module in whmcs and I can successfully suspend an account but then i have to go back in a reset the admin password to run unsuspend. Below are from the module logs

suspendaccount - https://###.##########.us:8083/api/user=admin&password=########&hash=&cmd=v-suspend-user&arg1=learn - ok

unsuspendaccount - https://###.##########.us:8083/api/user=admin&password=########&hash=&cmd=v-unsuspend-user&arg1=learn - Error: authentication failed


What can I do to fix this, or is this a bug?

I am using WHMCS Version: 6.1.1

So after doing some digging in WHMCS, I forgot to add the new vestacp host as whitelisted for api access. After doing that yesterday, not knowing it fixed the issue, I decided today to try and watch the vesta/system.log and also watch the var/log/auth.log and ran a suspend and unsuspend without issues.
