Parked Domains
Parked Domains
Hey guys, first I want to congratulate you because Vesta is an excellent tool for managing web servers. Now I want to make a suggestion, I think the panel he is missing an option to park domains and to perform domain redirects.
I hope I explained properly.
Regards.

You want to use domain pointers like in DirectAdmin?malevoefn wrote:Hey guys, first I want to congratulate you because Vesta is an excellent tool for managing web servers. Now I want to make a suggestion, I think the panel he is missing an option to park domains and to perform domain redirects.

Re: Parked Domains
First of all, kudos to setting up this great control panel. Installation and setup were a bliss on Ubuntu 14.04LTS and it works great. Very happy that it integrates well with the regular package managers.
I am hijacking this thread a tiny bit: right now you can easily add aliases to a domain. But I would really like to be able to also add redirects for a domain. Example: I have a main site with domain name example.com. Instead of adding an alias example.nl and having it show the same content as example.com, I would like it to redirect (RedirectPermanent) the visitor to example.com.
I can imagine that UI-wise below the 'aliases' text box there is also a 'redirects' textbox. Thanks again!
