Reinstall Vestacp

Post by Joop » Sun Nov 02, 2014 12:49 pm

Hello,

Is there an tutuorial or documentation how to reinstall a server with Vestacp? Because the firewall doesn't work with the auto update.

The iptables doesn't start and the fail2ban wasn't updated with the auto update.

iptables is started in your screenshot. Fail2ban should install with the update, but I've encountered the same problem (it doesn't). I just created backups of my sites, did a clean install of Vesta, and restored the backups. Problem solved. I do hope they take care of the issue in new updates though.

After update firewall module work fine, but without fail2ban
(Try to suspend and then unsuspend any rule in Firewall module)
Manual for install fail2ban will be later
