Re: Cloudlinux Support
Were more urgent matters and the support until it was decided to postpone.
It should be noted that Cloudlinux does no popularity, unlike Ubuntu ;(

Re: Cloudlinux Support
hm, so "Cloudlinix Powers 20,000,000 websites"..you are right, that's not popular enough :)
also, if you are asking Digitalocean to create an image with VestaCP = investing in small hosting providers, why not using cloudlinux?
any way, thank you

How much servers powered with CloudLinux?sdfantini wrote:hm, so "Cloudlinix Powers 20,000,000 websites"..you are right, that's not popular enough :)
How many compared to Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS?
This statistic it's big-big lies, you know? I think it's a less popular, do you agree?
Well, what we asking DO - option for users..sdfantini wrote:also, if you are asking Digitalocean to create an image with VestaCP = investing in small hosting providers, why not using cloudlinux?
Small hosting do not use CL and I see one good reason - paid version.
Re: Cloudlinux Support
I'm i talking with a professional guy? I'm disapointend.. :(
Cloudlinux is the "standard" for all hosting providers, last week i was in Germany at World Hosting Days to met Cloudlinux company and yes, those numbers are real. I personally know other providers in Italy, all of them using cloudlinux.
cloudlinux is a mod of centos, you can not compare ubuntu/debian/centos with cloudlinux
oh and yes, it costs 14$/ month. really that incredible price? for 14$ it stops all the users that are using server in bad way and blocking them on cpu usage and ram usage. it's vital.
but please, this is just what i think, and i really apreciate vestaCp :)

Re: Cloudlinux Support
Wow, so low disscuss trick, now my turn to be disapointed. :-) Yeah, may be I'm not so expirienced like you, okey. My carier in hosting was in Russia most time , and east Europe (and a little USA/Canada).sdfantini wrote:I'm i talking with a professional guy? I'm disapointend.. :(
Cloudlinux is interesting, but I don't know, except you, is it necessary? What is the "standard" is great, but will us a place among the hosting, which use Cloudlinux?sdfantini wrote:Cloudlinux is the "standard" for all hosting providers, last week i was in Germany at World Hosting Days to met Cloudlinux company and yes, those numbers are real. The mentality of some people does not allow to spend anything at all. How they sometimes pay for the servers? Don't know. Probably their heart is bleeding. ;-)sdfantini wrote:oh and yes, it costs 14$/ month. really that incredible price? for 14$ it stops all the users that are using server in bad way and blocking them on cpu usage and ram usage. it's vital.
No hard feelings, we thought in this direction, it was just less important than others. :(sdfantini wrote:but please, this is just what i think, and i really apreciate vestaCp :)
