Installing on a local server

Hello,
Is it possible to install Vesta CP on a dedicated school server which will be accessed from within the local network using an IP address?
In this case, the clients are the students which will have a dedicated (local) domain, FTP and ssh connexion on the server.
Many thanks

Yes, in intranet VestaCP works fine.
But PC/Server with Vesta needs internet connection for installation and updates.

And you need do something with DNS in your local network, it's so waste of time make on all pc in network records in windows\system32\etc\hosts or /etc/hosts.

thank you all,
Saying that I will use a dedicated IP address for the server, and all hosts (websites) will be accessed by a subdomain to that IP address, example:
- IP address: 172.16.197.3
- A website: jhondoe.172.16.197.3
Is this possible?

Normally this is possible, you only need to set your intern DNS server to resolve those domains on your vesta server.
