Getting some newline error while installing VESTA

Post by dheerajw » Sun Mar 26, 2017 6:10 am

Hi,

I have just build a new Ubuntu 14.04.3 (64-bit) VPS. While trying to install VESTA per the process specified at Vesta...

# Connect to your server as root via SSH
ssh [email protected]
# Download installation script
curl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install.sh
# Run it
bash vst-install.sh

I am getting the following error, when I run bash vst-install.sh command...

vst-install.sh: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token 'newline'
vst-install.sh: line 1: '<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">'

Am I doing anything wrong here?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Dheeraj
